Surfing has always allured a certain type of risk taker.  While movies like The Endless Summer popularized the notion of the traveling, bohemian surfer searching for the perfect wave, the 80s brought us Quicksilver, Billabong, Jeff Spicoli and the professionalization of the sport.  With it came neon swimsuits and beach accessories and an entire culture dedicated to surfing.

Surf style has slowly filtered into the home decor world but thankfully now we’ve mellowed to a more subtle and pleasing-to-the-eye color scheme of ocean aquas, sunny yellows and bright oranges mixed with a throwback to the 60s including vintage rattan furniture, woven accessories and stripes to create the perfect surfer chic home.
